We also made a dish of squash and apple bake (butternut squash and apples diced, with some brown sugar and flour and butter mixed in, then baked until soft), which we made last year to rave reviews, and this year my aunt Lisa asked for the recipe, since her kids in particular love it.
Thanksgiving was fun, and it was nice to spend time with our families. I played a bunch of air hockey with my cousins, who are all getting older and taller, but still aren't as good as I am at air hockey. On Friday a bunch of us went bowling and I managed to achieve about the same score I usually get, a 128. Meanwhile my (very skilled bowler) cousin Michael bowled a 265. Yow.
Now we are back home. Next weekend we are having some people over for a get-together involving food and drinks and whatever, then the two weekends after that we have family Christmas parties, and then it's Christmas. This season is always very busy but fun!
