I think the universe watched yesterday's midterm elections, and is letting me know what she thinks about it. Hence, it is grey and rainy and dreary and cold, all three of my officemates are out sick, I'm feeling rather dizzy so I'm probably sick too, and I'm doing drudge PowerPoint work that bores me to tears.
Phooey.

For the people who think summer is the best season, there is always a spring, a fall and a winter. But without winter, there can be no spring, and without spring there can be no summer. The seasons are all inextricably linked. If you don't like the season you're in, eventually, the one you prefer will come along.
For those of us who like summer, the one that began yesterday will last apparently two years. But the seasons will change eventually. It's a matter of time. It takes all seasons to make up a year, and each season contributes something vital to the world. No season is better or worse than the other, but preferences are not the same for all people.
