Andrew Sullivan, a columnist for Time Magazine, wrote a great column on why Dean is a better Democratic presidential candidate than Kerry, and he makes some excellent points (thanks, kizlj, for pointing this out). He calls John Kerry "Gore redux," which is basically how I feel about him. Too wishy-washy to really change anything, too dull to really be a threat to Bush. If Kerry gets the nomination, which is looking increasingly likely, I feel it'll condemn us to going through the 2000 election a second time.
If you consider yourself a Dean supporter, now's the time to put forth that last-ditch effort for his campaign. Visit his site. Join the campaign. Write letters, send in a donation, whatever. He's the best damn chance this country has to shape up, and if we can get him in office, things will get better, and fast.
And if you're not registered to vote, for the love of all that's good, go register and cast your ballot when your primary comes around.
