Snap back to reality...

Returning from vacation is always a tough process, even if it's a short vacation. I've spent the last couple days getting back into my groove after our little quick trip to Maine this weekend. Like mangofandango said, it was absolutely fantastic, and there are photos.

Saturday night we went and saw Anything Else at a theatre near our hotel. I enjoyed it immensely. I've been skeptical about Woody Allen's films for years because nearly every review I've seen of the latest ones has been negative, but I heard some good things about this one from trusted sources, so I took a chance on it. It was cute, witty, funny, engaging, and most of all, just plain fun. Highly recommended.

The VCR we bought arrived the other day. We can finally tape shows that are on while we're out! Welcome to the late 80s. And it looks like we'll get to use it tomorrow, because we've got free passes to a showing of "Under the Tuscan Sun" that will keep us from seeing the premieres of NBC's Thursday night lineup (excluding Scrubs, which is the best sitcom currently on TV imo, and doesn't premiere until Oct. 2).

Sarah's birthday is Oct. 2 which is about a week away. It's kind of short notice, I know, but if anyone wants to send her something, here is her Amazon wishlist. She will love you forever. :)

Ooh. I LOVE the photo of your and Sarah's foot in the water. Very cool. :)

And the photo of you driving...you're on the wrong side of the car!!! ;) I still find it weird to look at cars that are left-hand drive. In the family photo album at my parent's house, there's a photo of my dad driving when we lived in Virginia...exactly like the picture of you...and to this day I find it hard to look at it without thinking it's a reverse print or something.

Eh, enough of my babbles. ;)

Cool pictures, looks like you had a lot of fun. :)

That's funny. Feel free to open the image up in Paint Shop Pro and flip it if it makes you more comfortable. :)
