Today, Sabbatum by Rondellus arrived. It's a collection of Black Sabbath songs played on renaissance instruments and sung in Latin. It's really pretty music and it goes along with Apocalyptica's Plays Metallica by Four Cellos in my collection, as another unique-interpretation-of-heavy-metal-mus
I also ordered the Chicago soundtrack (the new movie version, not the Broadway recording) because I loved hearing Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Richard Gere performing the songs.
I haven't been buying CDs as much lately as I used to, mostly because I've been pissed off at the RIAA for months, and also because I haven't had much disposable income. But now that I do, I'm trying to catch up on CDs that I really want, slowly. Because as much as I want to have the freedom to download songs for free, I also want to support artists and have the actual, physical albums on my shelf as well. Plus, deepdiscountcd.com has incredible prices and free shipping, so I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off.
