I should learn not to tempt fate

It was cold yesterday, for sure, but this morning I woke up and did a double-take.

-20 degrees F

Yes, that says -20° F. I checked wunderground and weather.com, both of which use different stations, and they said -9° and -16° respectively. Still, it's cold no matter how you look at it.

Okay, now I will shut up about the weather for a few days at least since it's not really that interesting to people other than me.

Update, 8:02 am
-24 degrees F

It is getting colder. Plus, I had to put the recyclables out for pickup today, and there was no room by the side of the road, so I just spent fifteen minutes outside chopping through a giant, icy snowbank. My fingers feel like burning now.

Ha ha! It has skyrocketed up to 7° F (14° C) already! I'm sure soon we'll be having the same temperatures you're having.

It is. My main laptop runs Ubuntu 6.10 with the default Gnome desktop. Sadly, I have another laptop running Windows, because my day job occasionally requires Windows-specific software.

It was almost 80 degrees in El Paso. Of course now I'm going back to PA where it's below freezing. At least it's not as insanely cold as NH!
