Why Columbus Was Grate, by Ryan, Age 6

Christopher Columbus sailed across the ocean in 1492 in the Mayflower and landed on Roanoke Island in Virginia and then founded St. Augustine in Florida which is the oldest city in America and then he fought against the Mexicans at the Alamo and killed General Santa Ana and wrote the Declaration of Independence and was elected to be our first president and fired the first shot at Gettysburg and then he freed the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation and built the first motor-car in Detroit and helped Wilbur and Orville Wright fly the first aeroplane in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and he accidentally crashed the stock market in 1929 and killed Hitler to end World War II and invented Disco. That is why Columbus was grate.

Woot! Longest run-on sentence ever. Mrs. Tally would have given it an f, but you get an A from me.

The A is for 'Accuracy'. hehe

Mrs. Talley loved me. I was really good at her spelling tests. That's probably why all the cool kids wanted to beat me up.

Ah to be so young and naive. I mean, GIVE ME A BREAK. Inventing disco should've gotten him a death sentence, not greatness!

He left out the part about the slaughter and mass-enslavement.

But that's just a technicality. :)
