Mac Safari problems

I've gotten two emails letting me know that my web toys don't work correctly in Safari 1.0, a Mac web browser. It's too bad, because I don't have access to a Mac to do any testing to try and find out what's wrong. From what I can see, though, Safari has many CSS-related bugs and since my site relies heavily on CSS for display, I can imagine this would cause problems.

If any Mac user wants to take the time to try and suss out what's going wrong, that would be helpful. However, since it works fine in IE, Mozilla, and Firebird, all of which are available for the Mac, I'm not too worried. Especially since Firebird is the most bestest browser EVAR and everyone should be using it already. ;)

Thank you so much for creating all the LJ toys, one of which is currently doing the rounds of all my friends journals.

I received a '7' on the grade analysis, but being a Brit, this does not mean a great deal to my addled mind. Perhaps you could explain?

As for Mac users, perhaps they should try an umbrella for a change.

7th grade in the U.S. is for kids 12 to 13 years old. That's the second year of secondary school in the U.K., or last year of prep school (says a Brit friend of mine).

Also, I don't think an umbrella would have the sophisticated hardware needed to download and render my website! ;)

Interesting. 7th grade in Australia is the first year of secondary school.

You learn something new everyday.

Yes, well that *would* indeed be the correct level of literary achievement amongst us LOTR slash writers. If you or your dear lady would care to spend a happy hour or two away from the hallowed halls of academia or the torridly intellectual constraints of computer programming, you are welcome to visit http://www.loveandmithril.co.uk.

okay. yes. thanks for the fun time-wasting crap. my only comment/suggestion is that on the language-level game, that light grey on white, and yellow on white is almost impossible to read, and i think it might prevent people from commenting (incedentally, as you prob. know, when you click "comment on this" the info shows up in black and white). but thanks. i got a 12. woo hoo.

Hope you don't mind
Hello,
I've found your lj many times thru others' and added you as a friend. I've enjoyed many of the things you've done. Hope you don't mind, if you do let me know and I'll remove you.

Thanks!

It works great (along with many of your other delightful diversions/time-wasters) in Camino, which is leaner and cooler than Firebird. ;P

Nothing to do with Web-browsers...
But this does regard your 'livejournal toys'. Any chance of them being made for Deadjournal? That happens to be where I do the majority (read: all) of my updating, and naturally I was feeling rather left out by the lack of deadjournal toys! Toys are fun.. But not when you can't play with them on your own journal.

So, yes, this is basically a request for some DJ-friendly toys. Oh good, I'm rambling. ^^;;

Yes. Try my DeadJournal Grade Level Analysis toy, and my DeadJournal Sitcom Generator. The Potion toy works fine with DeadJournal.

Spread the word!

I downloaded the bata version of safari and noticed most of the CSS bugs on my own site... I actually e-mailed them to let them know. But oh well, safari may be fast and easy to use but I don't take it seriously, plus I rarely run OS X anyway.

Everything Looks fine with Safari 1.1
I just played around with your toys on Safari 1.1 and didn't notice any problems. Everything displayed just fine. I think all the bugs must have just been with Safari 1.0.
